07/02/2006 - Dover, NH (PRWEB) July 2, 2006 -- SellMyTimeshareNOW, the global leader in timeshare resales and rentals, is sponsoring PGA pro Bobby Cole in this year’s US Senior Open, at the Prairie Dunes Country Club in Hutchinson, Kansas, July 6th through 9th. It is one of the major events of the Champions Tour season, and SellMyTimeshareNOW is thrilled to be represented on the links by such a distinguished golfer.
What’s the connection between timeshares and golf? It’s like apple pie and ice cream – each makes the other that much more of a treat. As Jason Tremblay, co-CEO and co-founder of SellMyTimeshareNOW says, "Owning a timeshare means golfers can play many of the great courses of the world while staying in vacation property they lock-in at today’s prices. A timeshare gives them the flexibility to play the same courses that challenge the PGA Tour players, like Disney’s Magnolia and Palm in Orlando, the Blue Monster at Doral in Miami, or Harbour Town Golf Links at Hilton Head. Everywhere there is great golf, from Pebble Beach to St. Andrews, there are also great buys in resale timeshares. And people sometimes don’t realize that many timeshares no longer require weeklong vacations. You can often use your timeshare in two, three, or four-day stays, which is perfect for golf outings." Especially because timeshare owners at resorts with top-quality courses can easily book tee times and often receive free or discounted greens fees.
This week, as 155 top senior golfers take on the competitive conditions the USGA will create on the already challenging Prairie Dunes Country Club course, you can bet that golf lovers from around the world will be closely following the tournament action. And those who scheduled their timeshare accordingly will be in the gallery to see the winning putt firsthand. They’ll also see the SellMyTimeshareNOW logo on Bobby Cole’s shirt and hat as he competes.
Bobby Cole’s 22 worldwide tournament wins include The British Amateur, The South African Open (twice), The South African PGA Championship, The Buick Open, The Seattle Everett Open, and both the team and the individual win in the 1974 World Cup of Golf. He has had 8 top ten finishes in the US PGA Championship, the US Open, and the British Open, and finished 3rd in the 1975 British Open, one stroke back of Tom Watson and Jack Newton, who played off for the win. Bobby's records as the youngest player to make the cut and play at the Masters, and the youngest winner of the British Amateur still stand today. With more than 150 cuts made and a tournament win, Bobby Cole is a Lifetime Member of the US PGA Tour.

Big 12 Conference betting odds
Work left to do: Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, Kansas State
Texas joins Texas A&M and Kansas as locks after getting league win No. 11. Texas Tech greatly helped its own hopes and crippled OK State's with the two-point win Saturday. Is K-State the last reasonable hopeful? Could be an elimination match in Stillwater on Tuesday, at least for the Cowboys.
Work left to do:
Texas Tech [18-11 (7-7), RPI: 44, SOS: 12] A critical two-point win over OK State leaves the Red Raiders with Baylor and at Iowa State left. Get both and the Red Raiders likely are good to go. Get one and there could be some interesting comparisons with a K-State team that could finish two or three games "ahead" of them in the standings but doesn't have any of the quality wins Texas Tech has. Not a lot in nonconference play (against Arkansas in Little Rock being the best win, by far) to lean on.
Oklahoma State [18-9 (5-8), RPI: 50, SOS: 35] Still without a road win, the Cowboys now need to win two on the road just to get to .500 in conference play. It's hard to recall a team (OK, other than Clemson) falling so precipitously from lock status to almost certainly out of the NCAAs at this point. There are wins to be had in the last three, including a very big home game against K-State on Tuesday, but this team is reeling. Can you tell the pressure to win is getting to them with the way the final possession played out at Texas Tech? There are some good nonconference performances to lean on, specifically beating Missouri State and Syracuse on neutral floors and Pitt in OK City, but if the Pokes don't right this very, very soon, that won't be enough.
Kansas State [20-9 (9-5), RPI: 56, SOS: 96] It pays to be in the Big 12 North. The nine league wins are Colorado (twice), Missouri (twice), Iowa State (twice), Baylor, Nebraska and (a good one against) Texas. That helps explain the middling computer profile. The win over USC is nice, but the nonconference leaves a lot to be desired. The game at OK State in Stillwater on Tuesday is huge, as it could KO the Cowboys and leave K-State with a home date against Oklahoma with which to work.
MySportsbook.com: NBA Championship Odds
With the playoffs about two months away, the top two teams in the Western Conference are the clear cut leaders to win the NBA Championship. The Dallas Mavericks have the best record in the NBA (44-9) and have been absolutely scorching since the second week of the season. What makes the Mavs’ record more impressive is the fact that they dropped their first four games of the season. Currently they have won 17 out of their last 18 and are MySportsbook.com’s favorite (2-1) to win it all. Right behind the Mavs are the Pacific leading Phoenix Suns (39-13). Last season, the Suns lost in the Conference Finals to non-other then the Mavericks four games to two. Of course the Suns were without center Amare Stoudemire who has is averaging 19.9 PPG and 9.5 RPG since coming back from his knee injury. Unlike the Mavs, the Suns have struggled a bit lately having lost their last three and four out of their last seven. Of course the main reason for their three straight loses is due to the absence of two time MVP Steve Nash, who is out with a shoulder injury. Heads-up, the Mavs have beaten the Suns in both of their meetings this season.
In the Eastern Conference, the Pistons (32-19) are the favorites to win it all at 6-1. The addition of Chris Webber seems to have been a good move for the Pistons. Since coming over from the 76ers, Webber has averaged 13.1 PPG and 7.3 RPG and the Pistons are 11-4. Even though the defending champion Heat are currently on the playoff making cusp, they are the Eastern Conference team that is getting the most action to win it all (9-1). The fact that Shaquille O’Neal is back in the starting lineup after missing 39 games probably has something to do with this. No doubt, Shaq makes a difference when in the lineup as their winning six out of their last seven would indicate.
